atlas

The root descriptor for the atlas crate, and the workspace entry — wiring, not a DCI artefact. It binds the atlas's data and projections into the compiler that publishes specification trees as the site's linked pages: every draft a page, every name spoken in a draft's prose a link to the draft that bears it, every page carrying its place on the shelf and the pages that speak its name. The atlas reads nothing it does not publish and invents nothing it publishes — the pages show the drafts as authored; only the links are woven.

Three recorded v1 concessions, accepted here exactly as the drafts state them. Resolution is stack-wide with own-layer precedence, not dependency-scoped: a name reaches across layers of its stack without consulting the layer's declared dependencies, and a name two other layers both bear stays plain rather than guessed — scoping resolution by the dependency graph is a planned evolution, not a silent promise. Sources the reading leaves out — a document with no name header — are reported by the shell at compile time, not shown on the atlas. And the rendering of a draft's markdown into HTML, the page templates, the URL shapes, and the writing of files are carried — they are this project's codegen, the boundary any spec compiler draws around its emission.
